Artist Statement This body of work employs potent, dynamic figures frozen or ‘suspended’ in motion and time, which challenge and reposition the plasticity of women historically represented in Western art while assimilating issues in the world around me. I employ a range of research methods, including recordingrobatic performances through photography, often editing with Photoshop.
